$1500 Tax Credit (To qualify for 2010 tax credit your windows must be installed before December 31st, 2010.)

Wellington has glass that qualifies for the 2010 energy tax credit on new replacement windows. In order for you to get your savings you must purchase your new windows during 2010 and the windows must have a .30 U-Value rating and meet the .30 SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coeffiecent) rating.  There are many window companies that can get .30 U-Value but not many that can get the .30 SHGC.  NFRC has recommended to homeowners that you get something from the MANUFACTURER stating that the windows qualify, there are many distributors or contractors that sell windows anything from this source will not be acceptable for the tax credit.  When working with Wellington we ARE the Manufacturer so there will be less hurdles for you come tax time in 2011.  Our Goal is to Maximize the Customer Experience.

Little known facts:

1) The NFRC has over 200,000 different windows listed in their books. Only 60,000 qualify for the new energy tax credit.  That's only 1/3 of all windows manufactured that qualify.

2) New windows will save approx. $7200 per house over 10 years.

3) New windows will increase the value of your home by 4%
